Well, for the Illustration Friday challenge I felt like I could do anything this week because, hey,everything I make is held together by "stitches". "Starry Night" was made with bits and pieces out of my scrap boxes. I save fabric as small as an inch square. Holidays, family needs and travel had kept me from my studio too long, so last week I just went in my studio, sketched this out and stitched just to get back in the groove.As the needle went through the fabric and I could feel the friction of the thread, the stress of the last few monthes started to go away!
